When I first joined Mastodon, I was hesitant about instance blocks, feeling that they should be reserved only for the worst instances that wore swastikas on their sleeves. Over the years I've changed my stance significantly, because of what I've learned about the practicalities of moderation (1/?)

I’m so fucking done with #Tutanota. The encryption is a marketing joke and only has downsides, like being forced into their client (somewhat pretty but of dubious reliability and feature richness). Price to performance is still good, but the pain is becoming too much.
